I LOVE This Guy Who Tried To Open A Bank Account With A Million Dollar Bill
(Source)-A man tried to use a fake $1 million bill to open a checking account with the Pinnacle Bank branch in Havelock on Monday, a Lincoln police spokeswoman said.
Staff at the 61st Street and Havelock Avenue branch reported the encounter they had with the man because it was strange, Officer Angela Sands said.
At about 9:30 a.m., he came into the branch and presented the bill and adamantly claimed it was real despite attempts by tellers to convince him otherwise.
What a move. Just strutting your ass into your local bank branch, grab that deposit slip, and write 1,000,000 on the “CASH” line and slip that crisp greenback worth a cool milly over to the teller. People are saying this guy is stupid. Yeah, stupid like a fox. It’s the perfect crime. I mean, sure he didn’t get the bank account or the money, but he walked out of their free and clear. There are a lot of stupid people out there. What are the odds that this guy comes across the dumbest bank teller in a America? One in a billion? Probably worth the time to just walk in there and hope for the best. And if you don’t get the money then you’re not charged with fraud or counterfit. Nope. People just feel bad for you. There goes that poor moron who thought he had a million dollar bill.
I need to see what this million dollar bill looks like. Is it written in crayon? Which President is on there? I think it has be Bill Clinton. Ole Slick Willy. Is that 1,000,000 bill legal tender? Well that depends on what your definition of “is” is.
